Our Emergency Shelter relies on the generous donations of local individuals and businesses, as well as several small grants. A donation of just 25 dollars a day will provide a homeless individual with a safe and sober environment, warm clean bed, showers, and food.
Homeless individuals and families living on the street are vulnerable and subject to very dangerous situations. Our shelter provides a safe haven for men, women, and children where they won’t have to worry about how they will stay warm and safe for the night.
It costs only 25 dollars a day to provide one individual with a safe shelter, hot showers, and a meal for one night. This is substantially less than what it costs a community when homeless individuals stay on the streets.
We shelter men women and children.
Shelter residents check out during the day and complete job searches, as well as work with staff in our Council office to help them get back on their feet.
