COVID 19 CRISIS
As COVID 19, layoffs, and other crisis has struck our community, the Council is here to help and continue to serve. Please help us with a monetary donation today to keep our pantry full, the soup kitchen cooking, and the well being of our most vulnerable citizens in mind. If you would like your donation to go directly to COVID 19 Relief Fund, please specify in your donation comments.
Reverence and Relief
It’s a little scary out there right now, that’s why the Council of Community Services offers a supportive network of services. We believe in “helping people help themselves”, and that’s why we continue to serve in these times of great need.
However, we cannot do this alone. Please consider making a donation at this time to help the most vulnerable in our community. The COVID 19 Relief Fund is specifically designed to help those directly impacted by COVID 19.
What Can You Do? DONATE. Now more than ever, it is crucial. It’s simple, hit the donate button and specify your donation destination.
If you or someone you know is facing the repercussions of COVID 19 and are in need of assistance, please fill out the form and return to Noël, at Noel@ccswy.org. Visit the COVID 19 Relief tab for more information.
Have you seen a need in our community you’d like addressed? Let us know!
The Council of Community Services is the support network in Gillette and Campbell County that offers meals every day through its soup kitchen, provides nutrition to families in need through the food pantry, puts a roof over people’s head in times of crisis, provides case managers to help people deal with health emergencies, and works to move families into permanent housing. If you are looking for a way to make a difference in your community, we ask that you consider donating to the Council now.
In this short video, Executive Director Mikel Scott explains how the need has grown: more families rely on the food pantry or require rent assistance to avoid hunger and homelessness due to layoffs related to the pandemic. At the same time, our traditional fundraisers have been postponed as we stay home and stay safe. Please take a moment to become a Hometown Hero, and give what you can to help others in this community make it through the crisis. You have the power to make a real difference in someone’s life.
