Roberta's Success Story

Dialysis is a life-saving necessity for Roberta.  It takes a real toll on her body though, often leaving her exhausted.  Following a dialysis appointment, Roberta fell at home and broke her glasses.  Thanks to the medical/dental program we offer, Roberta was able to get a new pair.

Community Spotlight

The end of the year always brings such incredible donations.  With the many food drives, toy drives, and volunteer opportunities right now we thank you for thinking of us.  Our community is filled with many wonderful partners who go the extra mile for those in need.  Thank you for letting us be part of your generosity.

Christmas Basket Program

Each year, in a gigantic community effort, hundreds of families receive extra help with holiday meals.  The food for Christmas Baskets is competitively gathered by the Campbell County School District, various Campbell County Departments, and many local businesses and supporters who are looking to help out.

Thousands of pounds of food are gathered and distributed in a single day to any family looking for help.  The food provides not only a holiday meal, but a little extra support while children are home over breaks from school.

Volunteers and donors are always welcome! If you'd like to get involved click here.

How You're Helping

 Meet Emily

I’m Originally from Montana but have lived in Campbell County for 44 years now so Gillette is my home. I recently joined the team at the Council of Community Services and I’m excited about the work we do for our Community.  Giving to this Community has been my passion for some time now, I have worked with several non-profit groups and been part of many benefits that have helped our residents and it truly fills my heart to see the giving back and love our community displays.

I feel working here can only be described as my dream job. Every day I get the privilege of impacting others’ lives for the better.  My other love is my family. I have three beautiful children and they have given me the greatest gift of all, my grandchildren. They are my heart and soul. In my spare time I love adventure, I love riding!  Whether it be horses or Harley's, camping, gardening, but my favorite is hanging with my grand-babies and my best friend my cat Bella.
