Here’s a sneak peek at what we’ve accomplished together this year, thanks to your support, generosity, and commitment to our community.

Hunger Relief

The Soup Kitchen served 19,198 lunches in 2024, an 18% increase from the 16,284 meals served in 2023. On average, 54 people came through the doors each day, and a total of 1,110 individuals received meals throughout the year.

Our Food Pantry also saw an increase in use, serving 2,565 individuals and 1,187 households. That’s up from 2,283 people and 1,044 households in 2023.

  • 908 children received food, an 18% increase from last year

  • 321 seniors were served, up 10% from 2023

  • 80 veterans received assistance

Housing Support

Shelter use remained steady in terms of total nights, but the number of clients increased significantly. We provided 11,882 nights of shelter—up slightly from 11,091 in 2023—and served 445 individuals. That included 65 children, a 35% increase from the previous year.

Through Section 8, we supported an average of 251 households each month.

Our Emergency Solutions Grant programs provided:

  • Homeless Prevention for 9 people

  • Rapid Rehousing for 26 people

  • Street Outreach for 39 people

Community Assistance

Seconds on the Avenue distributed 446 vouchers to 591 clients. While fewer vouchers were issued than last year, overall sales at the store dropped by nearly 80%, highlighting a need for community support.

Weatherization efforts made a big impact, with 206 homes improved and 426 people helped:

  • 64 children

  • 126 elderly individuals

  • 13 Native American clients

  • 101 people with disabilities

Medical and Dental Assistance was provided to 133 people through vouchers. The most common needs were prescriptions, eye exams and glasses, and emergency dental care, especially extractions.

None of this would have been possible without the generosity from our community. Every meal served, home made warmer, and person who found a place to turn started with your generosity.

We’re so grateful to be in this work with you.

Stay tuned for our full 2024 Annual Report, coming soon.
