WyoGives 2025 is coming up! On Wednesday, July 16, join us for a statewide day of giving to support the Council of Community Services. This 24-hour online fundraising event is your chance to make a lasting impact right here in Gillette.

Thanks to the generosity of our match donors, your WyoGives donation will go twice as far.

Confirmed matches so far:

  • Anonymous – $5,000

  • Anonymous – $5,000

  • Anonymous – $1,000

  • The Anderson Family – $500

  • The Ebertz Family – $500

  • Friends of CCS $500

  • Trends Furniture $2,000

We’re incredibly grateful for this support. Additional matches may be announced, and a full list will be available on the WyoGives page.

This year, your support during WyoGives goes even further as it falls under our Heart of Hope Summer Campaign, a $120,000 fundraising effort to offset major funding cuts to essential programs. Due to federal reductions, including the elimination of $188,000 from hunger relief and anticipated cuts from housing and energy assistance programs, we’re facing a critical shortfall. Our goal for WyoGives is to raise $40,000 toward this campaign, and every dollar brings us closer to keeping vital services in place for our neighbors in need.

Since 1968, we’ve been providing critical services to our neighbors in need, offering housing, food, and emergency assistance. Your donation during WyoGives will help sustain and grow these programs, ensuring that we continue to support individuals and families in our community, especially now, as we respond to a 36% increase in homelessness and growing food insecurity affecting children and seniors.

What Your Gift Can Do

  • $35 = supplemental groceries for one person for a month

  • $40 = a week of meals at our Soup Kitchen

  • $100 = four nights of safe shelter

  • $250 = assistance with costs like rent, utilities, or medical prescriptions

  • $500 = supports our mission of helping people help themselves

The Programs You’re Supporting

When you donate, you’re supporting 10 essential programs, including:

  • Emergency Homeless Shelter

  • Soup Kitchen (serving nutritious meals 364 days a year)

  • Food Pantry

  • Permanent Supportive Housing

  • Section 8 Housing Assistance

  • Emergency Closet (furniture, clothing, winter wear)

  • Weatherization Program

  • Emergency Medical/Dental Assistance … and more!

These programs provide direct relief to people in our community who are facing tough times, giving them the tools they need to move forward.
